Every 2025 Chrysler Pacifica Is The Same Price As Last Year But One

At the beginning of this week, Chrysler updated its entire lineup by refreshing the Pacifica minivan for the 2025 model year. The updates include a new Select trim for both the regular Pacifica and the plug-in Pacifica Hybrid while the Limited trim has been dropped from the electrified model. Both powertrain variants are no longer available in Touring grade. At the time, the Stellantis-owned automaker did not release pricing, but according to Autoblog, it’s good; if the 2024 destination fee of $1,695 carries over, only one version gets a price increase, and it’s a minor one. However, that doesn’t take into account the loss of affordable Touring trims, which is similar to the recent loss of the Honda Odyssey EX trim for 2025.

Pricing in this article has yet to be confirmed by Chrysler.

All of these prices include the assumed destination charge, and all of them apply to FWD models – AWD adds $2,995 to the price.

With the loss of the more affordable Touring variants, the base price of the Pacifica has increased by $4,500. Formerly, the popular minivan started at $39,645 in FWD-only Touring guise and $41,805 for the Touring L, which could be optioned with AWD. Basically, Chrysler has raised base pricing and chosen to disguise it under a new Select trim name.

Still Competitive Despite Its Age

The Chrysler Pacifica is overdue for a proper refresh, but a significant update is coming sometime after the brand introduces its first electric vehicle. That’s still a couple of years away, but the Pacifica continues to sell well. The only question is, how long can that last? The 2025 Honda Odyssey is a fantastic alternative, and its pricing is a few grand more attractive – Honda also dropped its base Odyssey trim (EX), but the EX-L is still cheaper than the Pacifica Select at $41,920.

Chrysler has long planned to revitalize its fortunes, and progress is being made. According to recent reports, there’s a new midsize SUV in the works, which is likely to be a rebadged Dodge Durango. The Durango’s replacement is due near the end of 2026 or sometime early the following year, so we should see some new Chrysler cars on the roads before long. Until then, the competitive pricing of the Pacifica means it should continue to sell in the hundreds of thousands both here and in Canada.
