Meanwhile, the Jimny resembling the Renault 5 is called the “Little 5.” It sports a reworked front end featuring the square-shaped headlamps of the French city car. For those unfamiliar, the Renault 5, which inspires the look of the blue-colored DAMD Jimny, was sold from 1972 to 1996 across two generations. It kicked butt as a rally car as the Renault 5 Turbo, specifically in Group 2 with an “Alpine Verison,” Group 4, and eventually the no-holds-barred and rather frightening Group B. One of its crowning achievements was winning the 1981 Monte Carlo Rally, its first-ever foray into rally racing.
