Starting with March 2024 production, Highway Assistant will be added to the all-electric iX, while the X5, X6, and X7 SUVs will receive the feature from April 2024. Strangely, the X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition are excluded from this.

Extended smartphone integration for vehicles with BMW Operating System 9 (OS9) will be offered for the first time. With this, drivers can prompt the Apple iPhone voice assistant, Siri, using the voice control without pressing a button on the steering wheel. The cloud-based navigation system shows improved charging station information, with images and a zero to five-star rating system.

BMWs with OS 8, 8.5, or 9 will gain the Digital Key Plus feature, while the navigation system has been made more intuitive to use, among other improvements.
