Following the announcement that LG Electronics will debut a transparent antenna at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the South Korea-based electronics company said it will unveil its next-generation automotive display solutions for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs) under LG Display.

LG Display’s screen will use differentiated technologies such as P-OLED, Advanced Thin OLED (ATO), and LTPS (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon) LCD.

According to the company, the P-OLED has a lightweight and flexible panel thanks to a flexible plastic substrate, while the ATO features glass substrates to provide the core strength of automotive OLED “at a more competitive price point.” The LTPS LCD is a high-performance panel essentially larger and better than existing LCDs.
