Radford Type 62-2 Track Car Edition Is A 710-HP Pikes Peak Inspired Retro Supercar

Radford Motors has introduced a Type 62-2 version called the Track Car Edition Series inspired by the special car it sent up Pikes Peak International Hillclimb earlier this year.

Limited to just 12 examples, the Track Edition sets itself apart from the road car with many upgrades, such as a full carbon fiber body, upgraded subframes, a new rear airfoil, and a revised suspension system. The underbody of the vehicle has also been redesigned, presumably for greater aerodynamic performance.

With 600 horsepower, the standard 62-2 isn’t what you would call underpowered. Still, Radford has turned the dial to 11 with the Track Car Edition Series, which now puts out as much as 710 hp from the 3.5-liter V6. As a result, it can reach 60 mph in less than 2.2 seconds (that’s quicker than a Chiron) and has a top speed of 160 mph – 26 mph lower than the road-going version.
