The Best Daily Supercars Of 2025
The modern supercar. A two-door vehicle, looking like a million bucks, with enough horsepower to blast from 0-60 mph in an astonishingly short space of time.
As cool and amazing as a supercar may be, they are best kept garaged, only to be taken out over the weekend or on special occasions, to take for a blast, right? Well, how about driving that supercar on a daily basis, to work and play? We look at some plausible (and less plausible) supercar daily options. Just in case you need a new daily driver.

2025 Mercedes-AMG GT
The line defining a muscle car, a supercar or a hypercar is pretty blurred. For this daily driver list, we kept it relatively simple: two doors and an internal combustion engine with at least 500 hp. Practical considerations such as trunk space, and convenience features like cupholders and in-car entertainment systems were also considered. It’s topped off with elements like exclusivity and, of course, performance.

We kick this off with a dark horse in the supercar game. Yes, we know it’s not technically a supercar, but if you look at the performance figures above, it’s on par with supercars… from 20 years ago. Plus, we had to include at least one affordable car. It is the 500-hp Ford Mustang Dark Horse, and it will actually make for a very handy daily driver. Available with a six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic gearbox, the Mustang’s cabin is plush and luxurious, and it has all the bells and whistles. The Coyote V8 under the hood, says Ford, lets you ‘dominate the road’. And maybe some school buses, too.
The digital cockpit features a customizable 13.2-inch touchscreen. There is a high-end sound system, leather and an adjustable MagaRide Damping system. There’s even launch control if you need to beat the school bus off the line. The Dark Horse gets extra aerodynamic appendages, but mind that front spoiler over speed bumps.
With up to 13.5 cubic feet of trunk space, the Dark Horse can handle plenty of groceries. But, because a Mustang is, well, a Mustang, it is just not as drool-worthy, exclusive and cool as the other cars on this list. It represents massive value-for-money though.

Supercars don’t get more exclusive than Alfa Romeo’s 33 Stradale. Only 33 cars will ever be made. It is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces 620 hp.
The beautiful Alfa Romeo can sprint from 0-60 mph in less than three seconds, and will leave the school bus driver (and kids) breathless and mesmerized by the beautiful Italian car. The cabin is spartan. Want cupholders? Get a passenger with a steady hand. The entertainment system folds down from the dashboard when needed.
The 33 is aimed at the pleasure of driving, says Alfa Romeo. Who needs cupholders and boot space (1.8 cubic feet) when you can have a daily driver like this?
Why do we say it needs to be a daily driver when it’s so hopelessly impractical? Because cars like these should not be garage queens. They need to be out there, inspiring the next generation of gearhead.

Koenigsegg Jesko Asolut

Always running late? Then look no further than the fastest Koenigsegg ever made: the 1,280-hp Jesko Absolut. It is powered by a flat-plane, twin-turbo V8 and power is sent to the rear wheels via a nine-speed Light Speed Transmission. If you use E85 flex-fuel, that engine’s power jumps to an astonishing 1,600 hp.
The Jesko actually ticks way more daily runner boxes than you’d imagine. For one, it holds the current world speed record of 0-250 mph… in 27.8 seconds. That’s faster than a Mitsubishi Mirage gets to 60 mph, probably. You’ll never be late for meetings again.
It has a front suspension lift system that can raise the nose by two inches, so it can handle some speed bumps. It has a total of 5.3 cubic feet of storage space. It even has two cupholders. Okay, so it costs more than an Alfa-Romeo 33 Stradale. But we can dream.

BMW M4 CS

Top speed |
188 mph |
BMW’s M4 CS is the second-fastest BMW production car to lap the Nürburgring. So it will definitely keep up with the traffic. It’s certainly fast enough to beat several 2000s supercars.
Its 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six has 543 hp, sent to all four wheels via BMW’s M xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system via an eight-speed M Steptronic gearbox. It has a handy 12 cubic feet of cargo space, four seats, cool racing stripes, lots of carbon and includes a fancy front spoiler with end plates. The M4 CS doesn’t have a front suspension lift system, so speed bumps… well, they may be a challenge.
The BMW M4 CS is great. But it also lacks a measure of exclusivity. Hardcore performance fans will know exactly what it is. But the average motorist may reckon it is just a regular BMW 4 Series with some cool paint and wheels.

Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package

Want to make the school bus driver’s ears hurt? Then Porsche’s latest 911 GT3 Touring – its engine revving to 9,000 rpm – is what you need. The 911’s naturally aspirated flat-six engine delivers 502 hp, allowing this road-biased GT3 to blast from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds. And did we mention the 9,000 rpm thing? It’s one of the highest-revving engines out there.
The Porsche 911 is annoyingly efficient. With typical German efficiency, it does virtually everything, well, great. The 4.0-liter engine is coupled to Porsche’s efficient seven-speed PDK gearbox or, the real driver’s choice, a six-speed GT Sport manual transmission, sending the power very efficiently to the rear wheels. You also get the lightweight GT treatment with more refinement, ceramic brakes, special wheels and even the 911 GT3 RS’s aerodynamic bars for the front axle – ideal when you swoop past the school bus. The Touring deletes the stock GT3’s ostentatious rear wing and gets an active rear wing.
The 2+2 cabin is plush and luxurious. Amazingly, the Touring even has a 4.7 cubic feet frunk and 9.2 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down. An optional front suspension lift system is also available.

That Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale just out of financial reach? Then its cousin, the Maserati MC20, may be a great option as a daily driver. The MC20 is powered by Maserati’s mid-mounted Nettuno 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that shares some genes with the Alfa Romeo 33’s V6, but has unique heads and compression ratio. The engine also features a passive pre-chamber system that allows for lower emissions and less fuel wasted in the combustion process.
The cabin is a minimalist combination of luxury and speed, with all the modern amenities included. There are plenty of carbon fiber, paddles and an entertainment system to keep you entertained in traffic. The V6 engine revs to 8,000 r/min and the MC20 can sprint from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds. It’s even practical. Well, sort of. It has 1.7 cubic feet of frunk space, and 3.5 cubic feet of trunk. There is even an optional front suspension lift system that provides an extra 1.5 inches of clearance.
If you want to stand out in the daily runner crowd, and are into Italian cars, the MC20 is an exclusive option.

Aston Martin Vantage
MSRP: $195,000

656 hp |
|
Torque |

Top speed |
202 mph |
The most affordable Aston Martin is also the most practical. Boasting a new look with a large grille and lots of carbon fiber details, the latest Vantage also has 656 horsepower on tap, the front-mounted engine driving the rear wheels. With the engine mounted in the front, the Vantage actually has some trunk space… up to 12.3 cubic feet.
It is also beautiful, from any angle, and it is a real head-turner. Maybe not 33 Stradale beautiful, but still very beautiful. The new cabin is also great for spending lots of time in, with cupholders and lots of comfort in the game. The engine is still based on a Mercedes-AMG 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, but for its latest incarnation, Aston Martin added some bigger turbochargers and fiddled with some other parts, too. There is also a new eight-speed ZF gearbox and an electronic rear differential. It’s not only big on power under the hood… it gets a powerful, high-end sound system for when you tire of listening to the glorious engine.
Is the Vantage a great daily commuter? You bet!

Ferrari Roma
MSRP: From $243,360

As far as daily drivers go, it doesn’t get much more glorious than the 611-hp Ferrari Roma. The Roma is powered by Ferrari’s twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 and the power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The Roma can do 199 mph, and it will sprint from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds. That poor school bus driver will still have no chance.
The Roma’s engine is front-mid mounted, which means there is a reasonable amount of interior and cargo space… up to 12.1 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat, which is really handy. There are even tie-down points. The cabin is decked out in luxurious, top-quality leather. A cool feature is a display in front of the passenger, where you can display speed or revs. The Roma also has a front suspension lift system that provides an additional 1.5 inches of lift for dealing with those speed bumps.
The Roma is the stuff motoring dreams are made of.

A Corvette as a daily driver? You bet! This is the new Corvette ZR1, packing 1,064 horsepower. Selling from $173,300, that means you pay a very reasonable $162 per horsepower… compare that to the Jesko at $2,343 per horsepower, or the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale at $2,983 per horsepower. Yep, the ZR1 is a steal!
Despite the mid-mounted engine, there is still 12.6 cubic feet of cargo space. The cabin gets all the good stuff that will keep you entertained and comfortable when you are not racing a school bus. There is even a two-inch front lift system that can remember up to 1,000 GPS locations – and the system will remember the places where you raised the nose to get over a speed bump, and automatically raise the car when you arrive at the same spot. The latest ZR1 almost has it all. Comfort, crazy speed, luxury, practicality. It’s even reasonably priced.

Is there a new supercar that combines great looks, lots of horsepower, blistering performance, a comfortable and luxurious interior, practicality, exclusivity and desirability in one complete package? Well, we reckon the new Mercdes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ ticks the most ‘yes!’ boxes.
The previous generation was cool. But the 2025 model looks spectacular, fast and cool, the understated rear wing adding to the drama. It is crazy fast, and sounds like thunder. It handles like a racing car. It has an all-wheel drive system that can also do Drift mode and provide rear-wheel drive thrills. The cabin is a luxurious and plush space, with all the luxuries, amenities and safety features. It’s practical, too. And the rear seats can fold flat for a massive (in this class) 20 cubic feet of space.
If ever there was a supercar with the potential to dethrone the Porsche 911 as the quintessential ‘thinking person’s’ supercar, this may be it.
